US DOMESTIC MAIL RATES

We typically ship US Priority Mail, since it is usually cheaper than UPS. The shopping cart tries to estimate shipping based on dollars, not yardage, so it is not always accurate. We typically charge $3.25 shipping and handling for one yard or less; $4.25 for up to two yards. More than two yards is sent in a priority mailer for $5.50. We can stuff up to eight yards into just one mailer, so get the most out of your postal dollar! Flannels and wovens are sometimes a bit thicker, and harder to get more than six yards into the mailer, but we'll do our best.

Once you've outgrown the mailer, we move up to the priority mail flat rate box. We still find that the box is usually less expensive than weighing the fabric and paying by the ounce.

The table below shows you what the shopping cart calculates. If you bought it on sale, chances are the shipping costs may need to be adjusted if you got a great deal! Conversely, if we can ship it to you for less than the program calculated, for example you bought several patterns instead of yardage, we will reduce the charge.

USPS INTERNATIONAL

We can ship by Global Priority to you. We will ship up to 8 yards in the envelopes. Estimate about $12.00 for about a $50 purchase of fabric. If you have more than 8 yards we will ship in two envelopes. These rates will vary when we ship. International Priority mail is not trackable. We are not responsible for your package if it does not arrive unless you pay an additional $10 for tracking. Please let us know in the comments section if you would like us to track your package. UPS GROUND

This is a trackable and insured shipping service. You will be emailed a shipping notification automatically. Unfortunately, it is a slower service. If you live in eastern states, you may request UPS 3 Day, which is the same price as US Domestic Mail. (Packages using this service cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box address. ATTENTION: We cannot use UPS for post office box addresses.)
