Classes.   We have a range of classes offered at our shop near Boise.

We hold a free seminar-style class on the first Saturday of every month. Topics change each month and cover a wide range of useful topics – from binding and borders to appliqué and hand-made gift ideas. Call or come in to sign up (we like to make sure there are enough chairs) for our 11:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. session. The seminar lasts about one hour and you will receive a helpful handout to take home with you.

Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to brush up on some fundamental pointers, our Beginning Class takes you through each step of making a lap-size Super Simple Layer Cake quilt. Cost is $30 for three classes. We hold classes Tuesday evenings, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. or Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Call to get added to our waiting list.

Our shop’s specialty is long arm machine quilting. If you’ve been to our shop, you know you can’t ignore the humming of four Gammil long arm machines. We offer a one-day class to learn to use these awesome machines. Once you take our class, you can rent our machines to quilt all your projects. Cost is $90 for a full-day class – usually on a Friday or a Saturday. We announce new class dates once a quarter.
